Buffy Playbus is a Registered Charity, we rely on donations, grants and our own fund raising efforts to provide our service to 15 different communities throughout Uttlesford.

Buffy Playbus has been serving Uttlesford for 30 years!

Our double decker bus has been specially converted to provide, easily accessible and supervised play for under 5's.  The inspired initiative of a mobile service in a widespread rural area, is invaluable in bringing good quality play and learning facilities, under the guidance of professional early years workers, directly to where they are needed most.

We also have additional fun days in different communities during school holidays, so check on our timetable for times and venues.  We are always looking for sponsors for the bus and also for holiday "FUN" days, could you help us, if so contact me?

Each week Buffy Playbus costs over £1,800 to operate per week, we raise this amount from a number of sources including statutory doners, trusts and by our own fundraising efforts.

Buffy Playbus is free for families to visit!
We are trying to support families through the cost of living crisis by offering our service at no charge to you so that, no matter what, your little ones are still able to enjoy visiting Buffy.
We are still happy to accept donations and these can still be gift aided if you or your partner are a UK taxpayer. Please ask a memeber of our staff team for a Gift Aid Form.

Our work with local children's centres.
We work closely with Virgin/Barnardo's who operate 2 children's centre's in Uttlesford, this is a vital partnership to our organisation as it gives us access to skills and expertise that ultimately benefit the communities that we visit.

If you feel that you can help to support us in any way, either by volunteering on the bus, helping at one of our fund raising events or by becoming a a committee member or trustee, please contact us today.
